FAQs
Q - UI costs are really high given the economy – is there any reason to control unemployment claims?
A – Of course. Payable claims create a drain on your unemployment account. The greater the payout, the more the State agency increases your tax rate the following year to make up for decreased reserves.
Q – How does Us4U product(s) help control my costs?
A – Payable claims are a direct cause to increased tax rates. Our system tracks all of your claims and gives you the right terminology to use when responding to a UI claims through letters. It allows you to process claims at any level, and, through our Benefit Charge Extractor, be sure that you don’t pay for any claims that don’t belong to your company or that you had won the appeal.
Q – Why would I be charged for a claim I won?
A – There is on average about a 10% error factor nationwide in charging benefits to employers. Sometimes your account is charged even though you received a disqualification. Our program allows you to audit every claim and every charge to be sure your benefit charge statement is accurate.
Q – How does US4U provide help me coordinate this effort?
A – Through a combination of extensive knowledge packaged into an application that tracks your claims from start to finish…preformatted letters for easy protest of claims, all documents scanned to the application for document review as and when needed, and an ongoing list of every action associated with the claim and which associate was responsible for the action taken. As well, the application allows you to audit your charges to be sure you pay only for legitimate and approved claims.
